Welcome to another episode of The Healthy You Naturally Podcast!

This information is shared as an extension of my 30 year (Est. 1994) health and wellness practice experience and I thank you for joining me on this  wellness journey.

In this episode, I welcome a very special guest to discuss a fundamental yet overlooked topic, the critical relationship between our oral health and our overall health.

Our teeth and gums are not only essential for eating and speaking, but they also serve as key indicators of our general well being.

Joining me is Anna Louise Tolan, a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist, highly skilled clinician, and educator with a rich background spanning four decades in dental hygiene practice, with specialized expertise in advanced non-surgical periodontal therapy, implant therapy, and the care of medically compromised clients.

Recognized for her accomplishments, she is an international award-winning educator who will also share with us a unique story about her dad, and how in the mid-20th century, he fundamentally changed the dental industry, and our comfort in the dentist’s chair!

As always, I like to share a relevant quote to set the stage for each episode and Soupy Sales who some of you may recall as an American comedian, actor, and radio television personality once said:

“Be true to your teeth, or they will be false to you”

So whether you're curious about the latest advancements in dental hygiene, or seeking effective natural remedies (search my favourite herbs for Oral Health) for common dental issues, this episode has something for everyone aiming for a healthier life starting with a healthier mouth.

I hope you can join me as we explore a natural approach to oral health and its impacts on our overall health! The reality for most of us is that there are a lot of complex factors that influence us daily, this episode will discuss solutions that have proven effective for others, and I sincerely hope they resonate with you!

Till next time keep smiling ... with love, light, and gratitude...
