Welcome to another episode of The Healthy You Naturally Podcast!
This information is shared as an extension of my 30 year health and wellness practice experience.
I really like this quote about summer from "The Great Gatsby":
“And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer. There is an almost religious 'rebirth' that comes with the end of winter.”
I think it really encompasses what many of us look forward to as we leave winter in the rear-view mirror!
It’s true too that summer undeniably affects our mood and psychological well-being in various positive ways. Increased exposure to sunlight, enhanced physical activity, social interaction, and connection with nature (and its pests) all contribute to the overall positive impact of this season.
I like to say “My health does NOT take a vacation” and I believe that is also true for you.
Herbs and natural nutrition offer a simple yet effective and holistic approach to summer wellness. These natural solutions not only help us thrive year-round, but I believe are essential to fully enjoying our brief though glorious Canadian season.
We will talk about …
- Exposures to sunburns, insect bites and stings
- Seasonal allergies including hay fever
- Maintaining energy levels and staying cool naturally
- Digestion and elimination so our bodies function efficiently
- Sleep even during busy summer holiday vacations & socializing
- Immunity so we don’t get run down and miss the fun
I hope you can join me as we explore this summer focused topic and its impacts on our health! The reality for most of us is that there are a lot of complex factors that influence us daily, this episode will discuss solutions that have proven effective for others, and I sincerely hope they resonate with you!
Healthy Regards & Happy Listening!
