I don’t know about you, but I love exploring the links and connections of what I am feeling and experiencing because it helps me better understand what is truly going on in my body.

Let’s get started with this “wise saying” from Benjamin Franklin:

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

I am sure you've heard it before; I chose this quote as it couldn't be more relevant to this topic. Interestingly, Benjamin Franklin was a strong advocate for proactive vs. reactive health.

With 16 ounces in a pound, that’s a 16x multiplier, reminding us that a little prevention can have a powerful impact. And I would add it, in reality, it is frequently much more!

Personally, I find this very powerful, encouraging and hope you will too!

We will be embracing that mindset, a method of thinking to explore how a few intentional choices can create meaningful, enduring changes in our health, especially when it comes to managing:

  • energy
  • hormonal balance
  • blood sugar
  • and much more

Did you know that, according to the CDC, nearly 1 in 3 adults has prediabetes? That means someone in your family, workplace, or even you could be affected, and most people don’t even realize it!

Prediabetes isn’t just about blood sugar; it’s a sign that your body is struggling to maintain balance, which can lead to stubborn weight gain, low energy, hormonal imbalance and even long-term health issues like heart disease if left unaddressed.

The good news?

Taking deliberate, thoughtful steps like we’ll discuss in Episode 61 can help you take control and turn things around.
