Why We Give Up On Our Health Goals
Now, I promise you this is not going to be about making New Year's resolutions, you're hearing enough of that elsewhere!
From time to time, I am asked "Why is it so hard to keep my health and wellness goals". In this episode, #40, we will explore together the challenges, the obstacles we face, and what we can do about it!
A lot of clever people have made great observations on goals, let me share 2, the first is by Confucius who observed:
“When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.”
And a favourite is by Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul) who suggested:
“The longer you hang in there, the greater the chance that something will happen in your favor. No matter how hard it seems, the longer you persist, the more likely your success.”
Of course, that’s all quite easy to say!
